Texas DOT Compliance Group also assist companies that handle, ship or transport hazardous materials. As a Hazmat company, you are required to give all hazmat employees (including drivers) training in the below areas that are relevant to their involvement within 90 days of employment and every three (3) years thereafter:
- General Knowledge Training
- Driver Specific Training
- Security Awareness Training
- The company must also issue a certificate of training
Our training is designed for easy administration and meets the minimum DOT requirements for the areas to be trained in. Each training section contains a test, that is required and a certificate of training.
In addition to the training each company handling hazardous materials must have a Site Security Plan for each location and training must be provided to each hazmat employee to include their responsibilities.
